I am currently looking for students in Grand Rapids area high schools to act as representatives for Carrie Anne Photography.

WHO CAN APPLY?

  • If you are currently a junior, graduating in the class of 2013, I want you!
  • You don’t have to be a size zero or on your way to the catwalk to be one of my models…
  • I want high-energy students who are friendly, outgoing and fun. Someone who is able to encourage and inspire. Someone who has style, a fun personality, confidence and is comfortable in front of the camera.

AS A SENIOR REP YOU WILL RECEIVE:

  • Rep cards with your images to pass to your friends
  • Web size/watermarked images uploaded to my FB page and tagged for use on your profile
  • 20% off your print order
  • Refer 5 friends (who book sessions) and you get an iPhone 4S! Refer 10 or more and you get a new iPad! No joke!
  • All of your friends who book with your card will get a discount, too!
How do I apply? Just email carrie@carrieannephotography.net with your name, facebook page, school, and photograph.
How will I know if you’ve picked me? We will conduct phone interviews the week following the deadline and let everyone know which models have been chosen. I have room for only 2 reps per school, so get your applications in early!
What’s the criteria for model selection? Spunk, inner beauty, personality, distinguishing features, originality…
When will the shoot be? April/May of 2012
Does it cost anything? Absolutely NOTHING.

Grand Rapids has awesome locations for urban adventure photo shoots – with lots of color and textures to use as backgrounds. Fortunately there are many of these cool portrait locations within a few minutes walk.

One of the things I enjoyed about this session is that Natalie had her Mom Jennifer in a few of the photos with her. So not only did we get unique, edgy 8th grade graduation portraits – we also got some fun family portraits.  Natalie and Jennifer have great style, and we brought in some cool accessories – so we were able to put together ensembles that were unique to each person but still looked good when they were next to each other in the photos. Here are some favorites from the session…

This dining room features a large center 20 x 24 image with a 3 inch mat and a 1.5 inch frame. Each of the four flanking images are 8 x 10 in 11 x 14 inch mats with a 1 inch frame.

The center gallery wrap is 24 x 16 inches. The black and white wraps are 10 x 10.

Last, but not least, a classic black and white panoramic canvas wrap measuring 40 x 20 inches.
