I go back so far with Nathan’s parents that when I first met them, Nathan’s dad looked like… Nathan! But despite the weird time-warp, it was super fun to be a part of this guy’s senior year! Good luck at GVSU and as our future Russian Ambassador!

Who says you can’t have both beauty and brains? Mackenna was just named Salutatorian of her graduating class at Cedar Springs High School! Congratulations, Mackenna! Look out, world!

Lauren traveled to Grand Rapids with her sister for a combined senior session for two girls— an awesome and fun way to make memories for the start of a senior year! Good luck in your next chapter, Lauren! You’re sure to go far!

I love it when families travel from out of town to visit me in Grand Rapids, Michigan for their senior pictures. Not only do we get to have fun creating beautiful images together, but I get to show off the beauty of Grand Rapids in the fantastic summer months! Thank you, Meagan, for traveling down to the city for your senior session!

I’ve had the privilege of photographing Maddie several times over the years, and she has always had such a sweet spirit — ever since she was little. It is so gratifying to see her now as a beautiful young woman! Congratulations as you head off to Central Michigan University (my alma mater) in the fall! Say hi to the Biology department for me!

I’ve seen Claire grow up ever since she was in preschool, and it was a delight to help her commemorate her senior year with this photo session. Claire is a gifted dancer, an outstanding student and an all-around good-hearted human being. I know your family is going to miss you dearly when you are off to study Nursing at Hope College in the fall— you’re a blessing to everyone who knows you! Good luck, Claire!

Although I primarily specialize in stylized senior photography for girls, it is still great fun to work with the guys. Sometimes we will do this as part of a family session and carve out a little time for the senior guy. But on other occasions, we’ll do a full session, just for the guy. Josiah is a gifted, multi-instrument musician— a tenor sax man who doubles on most other reed instruments (plus keyboards and arranging). Amazing. Thanks for bringing your talents and style to downtown Grand Rapids for your senior photos— what fun!

I’ve known Tyler’s family for years, so it was such a pleasure to meet up in downtown Ada, Michigan for his senior portrait session. Congratulations on your graduation from Grand Rapids Christian High School — you’re on your way! Thanks for letting me help commemorate your senior year!

Victoria had such a creative and wide-ranging session— including paints & canvases, horses, classic cars… we even caught a frog! Thanks for making this such a memorable session!

Amrit looked so lovely on what turned out to be the hottest day of the summer! I love it when girls add special touches to personalize their session, and Amrit’s traditional Punjabi suit did just that!
